Trans Oil Poll

I use Spectro 6 Speed trans oil 75/140

Spectro 6-speed.

Yes I know I have a 5-speed, but that is all the dealer stocked and after running the oil for two years now there is absolutly no issues.

Just ordered redline shockproof heavy.
My dad ran syn3 in all holes and when it gets hot, shifting can be a chore. Hopefully it helps. I ordered it last night from Summit racing and it's already being delivered today. Holy cow!

I changed the fluid this morning and put the redline in. Immediate difference. Still clunks going into 2nd and 3rd but not as loud as goes into gear much smoother. Plus it's red so you can see the dipstick much easier.

I've had good luck with Redline shockproof in both bikes.

I've been using mobil1 75/140. Today I searched what's the best and a m1 site poped up. Acording to them using gear oil in the harley trans isn't recomended ,they say to use the same 20/50 as the engine. Your thoughts?

The Mobil1 site said gl5 may harm some tranny parts though. It concerned me a bit.
