Under mount mirrors

Hobbit, I saw a Streetbob in Daytona with them flpped I had to do a double take on that one

Tried my mirrors flipped on my Street Bob. I've got Street Slammer bars. No cigar. They hit the tank way early!

I have Street Slammers on my Sporty also, and experienced the same thing...conventional placement okay if the mirrors are low proflie and wide enough to get past shoulders (use them as reference when I lean back a bit beyond normal seating position to adjust to widest rear view possible).
