Not hard to see hwy on this subject
1. we all know the air cooled engines are set to run lean EPA
2. we know that so called opening them up will lean them out more
3. we know this is a bad thing
4. we are told that one change pipes or ac is ok but full stage one needs download and or fuel manager help. That makes sence. But why take a chance.
From what I have seen most that do pipes end up in a short time doing AC also so they end up with a stage one away.
I have almost always figured if you're going to do it, do it right. Get the pipes and the AC save a couple more bucks up get a TFI invite a friend over throw on some brats NO BEER yet, bolt it all on go for a ride with your new power house get home park it and have a beer. Or coffee for non drinkers like me.
