the forward controls do connect the motor to the frame and apparently are causing some vibration.

Right on, I am paranoid about this runout issue, and whether it comes on slowly (noticeable) or slowly until one day you say hey this isn't right.

I meant to say,

I'm taking my bike by the dealer because of the low end vibrations mentioned in this thread
peg vibration on decel to idle 07 dyna.

I'm pretty sure it is vibrating a lot more than when it was new. It has 1400 miles on it. If that is an engine mount or a runout problem hopefully they can determine that without costing me a bunch of money.
