What is it with cagers and their cell phones?

just the way it should be, it not quite that bad yet in the UK but were getting there

As far as I am aware, the law is the same in the UK as in Germany, possibly in the whole EU, it doesn't seem however to deter anyone.

I can't see that calls are so urgent that drivers can't wait to be where they can stop their vehicle and call back.

I am also amazed that people can spend tens of thousand of pounds buying a motor but can't spend the small amount it costs to install hands free system; you can buy a Bluetooth headpiece/mike for less than £20.

That being said, I feel strongly that ANYTHING that distracts and take the driver/rider attention from the road should be avoided, lives depend on it and we shouldn't need laws to force us, reason should prevail.
