I do get some ping on the 91 octane that I get here in the western states , using the octane boost seems to help some . It seems that the bikes are running leaner , would that produce the ping ?
Yes I have the HD race tuner & I had the HD dealer do a custome FI mapp . When I changed my sparkplugs they are a real light tan , they almost look new .
If I am not mistaken I think octane rating drops as it sit also. So if you don't ride all the time you may want to go to a higher octane rating anticipating fade in the tank or add a octane +++ product.
