had a few jobs, US Navy gas turbine technician (Retired after 20) during that time I was also an instructor teaching new technicians, after retirement, worked as a dealership mechanic for Nissan and then Ford, and now working as a gas turbine technician again.

I work on the electronics found at airports, the navaids (not radar) that help pilots find the end of the runway in bad weather or at night....hired gun doing contract work for the FAA...

Like Dr.Doolittle I also work in "alloy tubing" only on the east side of the Atlantic ocean, and the job is in no way glamorous.
