Where Are You From?

:d am from the centrail valley,here in california, just a couple hours from the pacific ocean,or the serria mountains, we have the best of both worlds here,,when it gets to hot to ride,in the valley,just leave early and head up to 6 or 8 thousand feetand run the twisties,or head over and run up or down the coast,,
 
Lawrence, Kansas. Home of the 2008 NCAA Champion Jayhawks. Pretty much the liberal capital of Kansas. Originally from Liberal, Kansas where you could ride in any direction for 30 minutes, look back and still see where you started. While in the Navy in the early 90's I was in Orlando Fl, Charleston SC, and finally Norfolk VA. I was stationed onboard the Enterprise CVN-65, which I hear is going to be decommissioned within the next couple of years. Just wanted to say thanks to all those that are serving and have served, you are the best this nation has!

The Pirates had, I think, the coolest looking onfield caps of any team in the majors back in the day:

Worcester, The Heart of Massachusetts. Twenty minutes to RI and CT, 30 minutes to Cow Hampshire where we can ditch our helmets.

Slow start to Summer here, hope it's just as slow passing by. :Dennis
