Where Are You From?

King George, VA, our proudest deal? We aren't Fredericksburg! Lots of civil war history and great riding. Lived for 30 years in Southern Maryland, great Crabs, REAL MD crab cakes! Southern MD Fried Chicken...Old Bay Seasoning in the flour, now that is Chicken with a kick! Dirt Track Racing, Drag Racing and Motorcross, Close enough to make the good money from Uncle Sam in DC and still enjoy a rural lifestyle. Chesapeake Bail Bonds if you catch yourself in a jamb :)

The Heart of America, Kansas City, MO. Home of the worst team in baseball, the Royals.
You can't live in KC if you don't like BBQ, I think it's a law! I live in the northern part of the city where I am literally 5 minutes from the country. Lots of great scenic roads although the condition of the roads is generally better across the state line in Kansas.
Sorry Show-Me State!

San Diego (Chula Vista) population 220k with San Diego Pop 3 million. Mexico is 12 miles South and Los Angeles 100 miles North. Talk about massive people with many that dont have Car Insurance! Home of the 2009 Little League World Series Champions. Wish I could say that about the Padres and Chargers!

Vernon, BC, Canada
Known for: Recreation (lakes, ski hill, snowmobiling), agriculture and forestry. And, of course, great riding.

Pennsylvania, best known for bad roads, corrupt government, extreme pollution, high taxes, and the Amish.
Oh yea, Ben Franklins O/l told him to "Go fly a Kite" here and old Wooden teeth George Washington spent a bad winter here one time.
I live in the Pittsburgh area. It's full of dirty filthy coal and steel smoke and stink and we've got a football team here, but no one has ever heard of them.

GS34, I'd like to invite you to visit the "other" Pennsylvania. From the north shore beaches of Presque Isle, across mile after mile of scenic Rt. 6, through acres and acres of pristeen Allegheny National Forest, "Penn's Woods" as they were known before our state was named. Then after a few hours of enjoying Rt 6 turn south down Rt 15 to York PA and tour the HD Custom Vehicle Operations. On your way home across Rt 30 you can tour the historic battlefields of Gettysburg, enjoy mountainous twisties approaching Breezewood, and after a few more miles stop for a humbling visit to the Flt 93 memorial near Somerset. I'm sure you'll arrive home with a clear head, and a new impression of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania!

I am from Sunny South Africa, down there on the extreme southern end of the dark continent, place called Port Elizabeth, harbour town with some Automobile Industry ( VW and GM ). famous for..well..it's also called the windy city and probably the only place in the world where they cancel sailing regattas because of too much wind ( EDIT ), and it's other name is the friendly city, proud of that! Good riding down towards Cape Town and up into the hinterland, we're talking hundreds of miles of good open roads. Harleys were made for this country!

Keep her pointing down the road, don't look back!

Mark
