I'm from the southeast corner of South Dakota. 6 miles from my front door is Nebraska, and 8 miles from my back door is Iowa. I refer to it as the state of "confusion" since I'm typically in all three states on a daily basis.

The locals refer to it as Siouxland.

Eastern Oregon, Baker City. Sometimes (Sept to May) the temp drops below freezing at night. Snow season is usually November to March. Good roads for easy cruising, nice day rides. Several of the motels have maps showing good places to ride. Good place to live if you like hunting, fishing, skiing, hiking and mostly friendly folks.
