Where's the Buells?

I know I am an earthbound Sporty rider, but I had two questions...

1) WBR, what made you get the 2002 X1 instead of having two Buells in your stable?

2) Have you all seen the new 2009 Buell's with the semi transparent tank cover and the new fairing designs? They looked awesome...! :small3d026:

2) Yeah, I really like the new Buells, but when I rode the X1 it was more of a "standard" bike to me--I've since put dirtbike bars on it to get that "sit up and beg" riding position, VS the fetal position I had on the Firebolt!

WildBuelrider... my bud has a Honda 599 and recently put some Pro-Taper bars on it. Looks sharp!

So yep.. .I have been thinking about doing the same... although I do think the stock Buell (I have an '08 XB12S) is comfortable the Pro Taper bars look so much more sporty\ aggressive\ and all around cooler.
