Clay bar is just that.
A clay or syn clay that is use with polish and or a lube to finely polish painted
surfaces.
IMO big waste of time on modern paint jobs most of the time.
Not as safe to use a they claim IMO, I have seen some bad results here you go

Smitty, I have use a clay bar on my 08 vivid black EGC about once a year. It does a great job getting rid of all these Florida bugs that get embedded in the paint. I have never had a problem with the clay bar, it's a pretty simple process and don't see how you can get "bad" results. Depending on the condition of the paint, I can see how you might not get any benefit from it but don't see how the clay could be bad. What were the bad results your referring to?
