Windshield suggestions, please.

Well, right now I'm not sure what height I need to get. Take a look at the photos. With a measuring tape hooked over the top of the windshield the reading at the edge of the fairing looks to be just over 12" which would mean that I already have a standard instead of a tall. Or is that the wrong place to measure to? Anyone know?

Yes that would be a "Standard" height windshield.

I bought a 10" windshield off Ebay today. The only thing that worries me is that it is made from acrylic instead of lexan. I'll have to be extra careful to not scratch it. Sometime this next week I will know if I solved my problem or spent $30 for nothing. Many thanks to everyone who offered their experience and suggestions.

John, I use a product called Rejex which I bought at my local H.D, dealer on their recomendation. I think it repels water better than Rain-x and it can be used on any shiney surface
or plastic but not on flat finish surfaces. You can read some imfo. on it at the following link. Dave

Thanks for the tip about Rejex. I'll give it a try. As for windshield wipers, we would have to go to glass windshields because I doubt Lexan would last long.
