No, you have to wipe it all off and "polish" it off with a clean rag, although you can't see the wax it is there and beads the water off really well.

I always use Pledge. It works really well. Try it, you won't be dissatisfied, honest. And if you somehow carelessly sprayed some on your fairing, so what! Now you can get a refresher wax on your fairing too!

Yep - the bike shield AND helmet face shield, if you have one.

Are you looking through the windshield? I'd cut it down an inch or two below your line of sight.

Pledge is pretty much good for everything except brake pads.

I use the wifes cream rinse, works well to bead water and against fog. Hockey players have used it on visors for years. Put small amount on clean damp cloth, apply then buff.
