I would'nt seal it up that tight you need some air flow or the condensation from the different temperatures will do you more harm than leaving it uncovered

Before you go and do all that, why don't you check into some of those heated storage units. The retal units are every couple of miles here. You could probabaly get a small unit for some thing like 20-30 bucks a month. You figure you will only need to put it away a few months, probably cost a hundred at the most. Put down some old carpet and stop by and start her up once a week. Just make sure you pay the bill, those places useually sell the contents of the unit if you do not pay the bill with in a couple of months..I would say a 5X10 would do it..
