YO, Hog world!

Got the slop figured out last week. If the solution of new hex bolt vice original allen head bolt with thread locker doesn't work (so far so good) I'll be going to the after market lever,may just order it anyway.

You may find changing the bolt will work for a while but will eventually loosen up again. What happens is the inside of the lever that mounts to the shaft strips/wares out and will not give a proper fit and the bolt will only tighten so much.

The only fix is a new lever from Harley or the better aftermarket lever.
