A few questions regarding the troubleshooting I am doing to figure out the cause of U1016 on my bike.

It appears the ECM is comparing the data from the sensor: tssm and speedometer.

If the ECM is not provided the proper signal, It can not interpret the signal and consequently throws a code to inform you there is a problem in either the tssm or speedo.

So, check all positive and grounds on both.

Always double check your grounds, the way these bikes shake is hard on grounds
