That means that usually the bolts available at the local stores aren't a grade 8 bolt that you find in most places on the bike.

Stainless grades aren't the same as the counterparts either.

why would ya need grade 8 for the derby though .. i doubt they are grade 8 anyways from factory

Really not needed for the derby but I try to use them everywhere there's a bolt. Don't like broken bolts. Some habits are hard to break after working on planes.

My dealer is pretty good for a seasonal dealer. What I mean by seasonal is that this is a shore resort like O.C. Maryland or Myrtle beach. A majority of the people are here six moths out of the year. But I have to say whenever I go in for a part, they have it most of the time. The last time I went in for something the owner gave me a shadow box picture with 5 pewter bikes. It is the Harley Davidson's of the 1990's. I thought it was a really nice gesture. I hung it in the bar and it looks really nice on the wall.
