Dyna Footboards/Heel-Toe Shifter

Thanks to 'Glider' and 'NewHD74Fan' for the heads up on postin pics. I think my lil brain has finally got it now......photobucket smoked some of my brain cells, I think the HDTalkin Gallery upload was easier for me..........OK, time shovel snow!

The kit as a whole is obsolete. All the individual parts should be available. I purchased a few replacement parts for the original kit a few weeks ago.
Hi,
New guy here... I was just wondering the same as some of the previous posters if these parts are still in fact available through HD. I talked to my regular local parts guy and he said that all of the part numbers I was showing him from the list posted here were obsolete.
A few months ago I stumbled into a deal to acquire most the the parts in the kit but are still missing the shifter shaft assembly, shifter rod, and brake rod. Im not worried about the hardware as I can obviously get that anywhere.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

This is how I did the foot boards on mine. I had to get a softail footboard for the left side and make a bracket. The Dyna footboard are 10 inch on center for the mounts and the Doftail is 8 inch on center. Had to do this to make room for the EGlide shifter to bolt on. Did this mod over the winter and it works great and have had no problems or issues with it. The one thing I really like about this method is you have the full use on the footboard.

Very cool solution!

Unfortunately I have forward controls on my bike and no longer have the shifter shaft going through the primary chain adjuster cover. So this wouldnt work for me. SO I am still on the lookout for the last few parts I need to complete my kit and get it installed.

Gotta say I do like the way the whole footboard is open on your setup so you can move your foot around.

Very nicely done!

Just wanted to add to this thread. I now have the dewey healslammer on an 08 superglide with fwd controls. I am very happy shifting heel toe now. Its a fantastic part.

04 Dyna Footboards,

I have had my bike since 04, and love, but have had back surgery from car accident, and am now looking to add the footboards to my bike, I have seen several dyna's with them, and their not the extension boards that look like crap, but look like the came with the bikes.

I saw one yesterday at longhorn HD, on a police motor bike, he had the same yr as mine, and said that he got his off the internet, I've been looking but without finding,

anyone got any ideals to get me going in the right direction?:newsmile055:

Hey Tim,

Cool setup, but kind of freaky with the ghost rider.
