I use M1 in my sporty , But do tell is it cool to use in the Gearbox ?
Ive been told yes by H.D. tecs that are friends And "NO" by the attitude behind the counter at Harley.........

M1 is fine for the gear box as long as it is their Gear oil 75 140 or something like that different bottle than the M1 Vtwin

I looked all over for Mobil 1 V-Twin and couldn't find any. The NAPA place had Royal Purple, so I got that instead (my brother uses it too).

I thought Houston was an oil town.:dknow

Houston is an oil town! why would they want to promote synthetics?

At this time 20-50 syn3, I will be changing to amsoil

I went with the Amsoil 20W50 Synthetis Oil, that is all the Local Indy Shop had and did not want to wait to have Royal Purple ordered, I just done the 1000 Mile Service, She runs great and will see how the Oil holds up!
