Falling Leaves

Don't have to worry about falling leaves here anymore. It's ice and snow.

Yep, 6 month winter here in Michigan. It's snow today and the high 32. FatBob hooked to the Tender, Stable in the Tank. Don't want to put it on the hoist yet. That means I'm done for a while. Those wet leaves I talked about are now frozen to the street.

don't have frozen leaves but almost lost it yesterday on wet leaves at 60 mph, man what a rush

That's the worst feeling in the world.

Leaves, pine straw, gravel, how about ice. Seveal years ago I used to do a Christmas eve ride and a Christmas day rie and the same on new years. I pulled out of my garage on to my gravel drive and didn't notice the ice. I was down and sliding as soon as I hit the street. I managed to get stopped and back up on two wheels when the salt truck came by. I got my ride in and then went home for repairs to the body, fixed the bike later.
