59Panhead good post never really looked in to the ethenol verses non ethenol, but this is what I have found by my own experience , my 45 Magnum has a 45 lower end with a K top end . when the bike is at running temp it becomes hard to start with ethenol gas unless I let the bike cool down, but with none ethenol gas (straight gas) the bike starts easy all the time, after I found this out I started runnin none ethenol (staight gas) in my newer efi bikes and my mileage per gallon has increased to 6 to 8 more miles per gallon. dont feel any seat of the pants diff between the 2 ,although the straight gas does cost a little more and hard to find in my neck of the woods ,I will always try to stay with the staight gas.
