Plenty of choices here in centeral FLA. I use either Sunoco or Racetrack Hi Test (93) in mine. I do not know what the previous owner used, But I have only used Hi Test. :s

I use Shell gas high grade. Less methanol in it. 1200 sporter.

The highest octane rating I can find...around here is usually 93, also I try to
ethanol free which is getting more abundant.

my '87 FLHTC requires 92 or better. any less and she pings like crazy. My '73 Shovel will run on anything.

I use the highest grade available and stay away from Sunoco as it seems to get me less mpg than shell bp or Exxon

93 from Sunoco out of convenience. May be time to try other brands and check mileage.
