Rear brake line leaking as a result of either the clutch cable rubbing a hole in it or the line rubbing the frame or something else. I think everyone should take a few minutes to check their rear brake line for any clearance issues. With the number of failures it is obvious that the many dealers aren't checking for this problem.

This should be a DOT recall IMO

I have a 2007(with32000 miles on it) Road King Classic that I am getting ready to tare into the transmission. Before buying a Harley, I would have never tried to work on the transmission. I would like to thank Harley Davidson company for making me a motorcycle mechanic. In thirty years of riding rice burners I never was given the motivation to learn how to wrench a bike.

From reading on another form, the 6 speed CAN be a little tougher to work on than the 5 speed... Snap ring and Not enough Instruction (not correct) in the big book I've Been Told...

Good Luck...

Motorcycles always need something. Oil changes, tires, handlebars, saddlebags, tshirts, jackets, pipes, ...

2001 Sporty @ 30k and 07 FXDB @15k. Can't think of anything else.

After two weeks into owning my first HD, a 2015 FLHTKL I pulled up next to the fuel pump, killed the engine, pushed out the "Jiffy Stand" and went WTH............. The damn thing came off and I had to ask the guy in front of me if he would pick it up for me. The next adventure was waiting 4 days for the dealer to get parts in!!!!

Bummer, not an experience you wanted for sure. I hope you had the front wheel turned to the left and the bike was in gear. At least you had help picking it up!
