I sure hope that Harley can survive all the turmoil. Giving up the newer brands is just about admitting defeat regarding market expansion to younger riders.
Harley can only hope as more of us baby boomers pass on, that younger riders will see the HD brand as the ultimate upscale option once they have the money to pay for it.
The new darker colored bikes don't interest me in the least. I hope that these designs attract new HD riders, because it is to all HD riders to have a viable supply chain.
Very sad.

Dark colored bikes are a good move, I think.
If you see at what is going to be presented in Milan ECMA show 2009, the black coating seems to be the new trend.
HD did the first move and this hopefully should reward her.
I have a black denim bike and I love it: I'm 50 but young at heart!
