As some of you know, this past August, my Deuce and I were sampled by a hungry Chevy pickup when the truck owner crossed into our lane enroute to his driveway. The Deuce didn't survive, but I did!
I replaced the original with a carbon copy - same year, same color, less miles, more chrome! So here is a picture of my 'new' '07 Deuce!
My wife snapped this as I was saddling up to ride it away to winter storage. I am really looking forward to next spring!

Thanks! :thanks :s They are V&H Big Shots. My other Deuce had Rush Downslash slip-ons, and I was also very pleased with the look as well as the sound. The V&H seem quite a bit louder to my ears at slower speeds as the other exhaust exited further back. I'm very happy with these, but time will tell. My better half has sensitive hearing and good hearing is a MUST in her profession, so I might wind up swapping some things around next year! Gotta keep my riding partner happy, ya know? :naughty

Thanks, it's too pretty to get dirty anymore so it only gets out on sunny days for parades, bike shows, bar hopping and Taco Thursdays. Living in Seattle sunny days aren't frequent enough to get it out as often as I would like. I traded a BMW K1200LT to buy a Road Glide Ultra a few months ago. I made a promise to myself to not turn it into a garage queen and just ride it. My accessorizing will be limited to improving functionality or performance. That's the plan anyway.

Nicely done, are you healed up now? Any plans for winter mods or just putting her up til Spring?
