Let see them Softails

Nicely done, are you healed up now? Any plans for winter mods or just putting her up til Spring?

Thanks! Right now I am just storing her. She has been washed and waxed and covered and is a climate controlled storage facility. I DID purchase of HEADBOLT BRIDGES for installation in the spring and hope to purchase some other 'trinkets'. I plan on getting new Metzlers for the new season as the original Dunlop are getting near the end. I just acquired a RED taillight for it as well. I do not care for the look of the clear LED one (JMO, no hate mail please! *LOL*)
I have a few more little pieces to add from my wrecked bike (crampbuster, detachable windshield brackets, etc.) but aside from changing to my Sundowner seat, touring backrest and luggage rack look when the Mrs. hopefully decides she dares to ride again, I think I'm very happy with her,as she sits!

As for me, yeah, the major healing is done. I walk now with a very neglible limp, if at all. (Unless I've been on my feet a lot or sitting in a hard chair too long). The doctors FINALLY have gotten around to telling me why my hands are still numb and cold-feeling all the time. Cervical Disk Disease, aggravated by, but not caused by, the accident. NOW we get to see if they can do anything to help the situation. It's not life threatening but very aggravating, especially to someone that has always been a builder and tinkerer! Many of my favorite hobbies have been robbed from my life at this point. I hand-built award-winning custom car models of magazine quality.... now I don't dare even pick them off to dust them! I have done very detailed leather-carving and tooling projects that has been shipped to Europe, Canada and all over the US - I was once even commissioned to design, tool and build knife sheaths for one-off custom hunting knives built by a legendary Southern knife builder for his family! No more! As you well know, my friend, it is very frustrating, maddening and saddening to have your body damaged to where these things can no longer be enjoyed!
BUT!!! I AM alive and here to complain about it, so life is good!
