Starting noise

Process of elimination I guess. Maybe the fuel pump? remove the gas cap and listen as you try and duplicate the sound. Sounds like the only time you hear it is when you turn on the power.

no codes,which I think if the fuel pump was going would come up.
Sorry,no I meant it happened after I shut it down to get fuel,when I started it again.What gets me is the chirp on shut down......

The only thing I can think of that makes any noise when you put the power to it is the fuel pump as it energizes.

No problem.... This is interesting and would like to hear noise for I agree that it must be fuel pump related.......

Jack in post 19 the OP verified it does not make noise on shut down. What's up with the liar statement I believe that the OP is being straight forward. If need be add statement to signature line PLEASE.....
