Starting noise

I stand behind my statement, even my M8 does this during shut down it is unless dolt says other wise the valves in overlap

Does it before starting,after run switch is hit

Why not pull the fuel pump fuse or relay, and then see if it makes the noise.
Obviously it won't start, but no squeak/chirp/beep will give you the answer.
