Would like to hear what kind of mileage other riders are getting out of tires on their dressers. I am getting aprox.12000 out of a rear dunlop 402 with twice that on front tire. This good, bad, normal? Got a little better with metzlers so going back to 880s.
WOW!!! you guys get a lot better on your dressers than I get on my Softail. I'm pushing it at 9000, and it looks pretty thin at 8000. That's the 200 rear, and they don't have a whole lotta tread to begin with though.

MRKihn's experience with the 200 rear tire is more in line with my experience with my 2007 FLSTF Fatboy.
I only got around 5000 miles on my original equipment rear tire. Could have probably got another 1000 miles but was going on a trip so replaced tires prior to leaving.
Being a little un-happy with the wear/mileage I got from my original set, I contacted Dunlop and inquired what their perception of normal tire life for this tire and they responded with "between 5k and 8k mile depending on the type of riding that is done".
I have looked everywhere for a different brand other than Dunlop to try, but cannot find another manufacturer that makes a replacement tire for my Fatboy. Guess I am stuck with Dunlop!!!
