If you are running the Avon Cobra on the rear at this time, are you also running an Avon Cobra on the front as well.

I don't know if the handling would be affected is you were to run a different tire brand on the front than on the rear. Do you have any experience with that scenerio?

I've run mismatch and matched and never been able to tell the difference. I don't buy the "your bike won't handle right" line, and never have. I don't race the bike and I'm not putting my knee on the ground in the corners, but she corners and handles just fine. right now I have the metz on the front, and avon on the back.
you don't have to try mismatching if you don't want this is just my opinion.
