tire mileage

I ride on a LOT of concrete and am not gentle with the loud grip.

You MIGHT say that ....:newsmile045: Hey... is that fog setting in? :D

On an Ultra two up all the time, 10 to 12 is what I get out of a rear tire. Always seems to be a trip coming up around 10 so I wind up changing them out before I leave.

I know this one, Everclear is a raw alchol. It runs around 180 proof and is clear. Works for starting fires, and had been know to generate high speed wobbles while walking. Have not heard of the beer and lemonaide combination. Could make life interesting.

It definately started a fire under Lew!:D

Run Dunlops on my Y2K Road King and get around 16k+ on the front and 10-12K on the rear but I'm also about 290lbs so like riding 2 up all the time.

I have a 08 Softail custom with a Dunlop 200/55R17 78V rear and I’m averaging between 5000 and 6000 miles a tire. I mean it’s bald at that point and I don’t ride hard but I do spend a lot of time on asphalt country roads which are little rougher than a concrete highway. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to find anyone that makes this size other than Dunlop. I have 12,500 miles and will be installing my third tire real soon because I’m sure it won’t pass the upcoming state inspection. The front 21” Dunlop is another story, it lasted about 10,000.

The most I got out of Metzler 880 was 6k Metzler was on the bike when I got it,on my third one now. Ultra classic 03) Next change going back to the Dunlop 402, you all seem to be getting great mileage with them.
