Why do you ride?

Freedom...I get to see the real world. I got to tell you though, exits across America all look the same...McDonalds, Burger King, Arby's. Take the back roads...take your time.

Because it's just me and the road. The sun and wind in my face and no glass or metal to impede my view of the beautiful scenery that unfolds as I roll on down the back roads here in God's Country. No phone or other other things to distract me. In other words.....Peace.

read one article a while back that said riding is a form of meditation. That when riding you tend to focus mainly on riding, and the other aggravations usually get blocked out. I thought about that and said that's it. That's why I've always enjoyed riding - it's relaxing, meditative to me - just gets you feeling right.
