Dealers You Wouldn't Recommend.

Eastside Harley in Bellevue, WA this dealership is only interested in selling bikes, once you buy from them they treat you like an alien, DO NOT SHOP THIS STORE!

Eastside Harley in Bellevue, WA. Bought my 07 Road King Classic from them. Purchased over the phone and ehen I went to pick it up it took an hour to deliver the bike because salesmen were fighting over who got the commission. From this point forward the service level deteriorated, the high and mighty attitude sky rocketed, and their overall lack of consumer respect evaporated.
I ride with numerous professionals who spend lot's of money on our bikes, the end result for Eastside Harley is.............
1. Loss of numerous riders
2. No future sales
3. No future service work
4. Absolutely, no referrals

And worst of all for them, me and my buddies posting and telling everyone we know exactly what I posted above!

Goodbye Eastside HD, you are not deserving of calling yourself an HD dealer.

Another interesting point, I wrote a very detailed letter to the motor company regarding this dealer and guess what?, "No Response", it's been well over a year. I guess the motor company is feeding the dealers perception of how to treat customers.

I had what I consider as a shoddy service from Stratstone HD in Woverhampton, UK. When I bought my bike they registered it in my husbands name, apparently only men buy Harleys, I am now the second owner - needless to say I have never been back.

Also not a brilliant experience at Birminham HD, UK. Took them 8 months to repair my husbands Heritage after some wally towing a caravan sent him flying on a country lane in the Cotswolds, when they returned it it still had a crushed airfilter, cissy bar was still at a 45degree angle and the front fender still had a crease in it.

I will now go to the other thread and let you know of a good dealer in UK

I'm a big beliver in customer service and when I get it I'll tell anyone who wants to know, If I get poor customer service I'll tell everyone. American Classic Motors gives NO customer service. The fallowing is the last Email I sent to AmeriHello, This is Tony Gentile member # 754315 again, Remember Me. It's been a solid 8 days, One Week and One Day since I sent you a request for a Quote on a list of parts I needed for a Harley I'm building in the shop, Danimal Customs ring a bell? If not ask Tammy, I spoke to her on the phone last Saturday Feb 20th and again Feb 23rd and Feb 25th. I also Emailed you on Feb 18th, request for quote, and Feb 23rd, resubmit request for quote. In your defense you did Email me back on Feb 20 to let me know you hadn't forgot about me , again late on Feb 22 asking for more information ( which I called you with and Emailed to you on the 23rd ). You did Email me again on the the 23rd asking if I got your Email from the 22nd, not once did I get a price for one part. Check your own records and see if when I bought anything from you before, I paid you immediately, and when I won a part on EBay I paid you immediately. I never expected you to get back to me with the pricing Immediately, but a couple of days would have been nice, 3 or 4 days would have been acceptable, and if the pricing was exceptional I would have even been happy with 5 or 6 days, BUT here it is after the close of business on a Friday and I still haven't gotten a price back on one single part of the more than 10 that were on the original list. This means that even if you got back to me with prices today or even by Sunday the parts I needed last Monday or Tuesday to keep my shop working wouldn't be here till Thursday or Friday of next week, so in a direct way you have succeeded in shutting down my shop for 9 days and wasted numerous hours of my time looking for parts on the internet from multiple vendors to replace the ones I was willing to purchase from you, which would have been one stop shopping. If you think I'm a little angry that would be a little short sighted and if you thought you lost a thousand dollars in business that would also be a little short sighted. I spent more than that in less than 15 minutes last night and I've spent over $ 5000.00 today buying parts I was going to buy from you. I know that shipping some parts from California and Florida will take a few days longer than if I was getting them from you, because your less than 300 miles away, but I have figured out a way to take up my time while I'm waiting for parts and the shop is closed down. I figure I'll just start a Blog on every motor cycle site I can find on the internet telling everyone who cares to read them what kind of Customer Service you give or should I say Don't give. I realize that losing my business won't hurt you a whole lot but being short sighted isn't the best type of vision to have. Maybe you haven't heard, but let me ask you, Have you ever heard of the Internet?

I'm not going into specifics. I will NEVER order from phatperformanceparts.com again. Just stay away.:newsmile055:

Harley Davidson of Seattle

If I could swear on this site I would go into more details, but lets just say never ever go there, for anything!

Laconia HD (Meredith, NH) & White Mountain HD (North Conway, NH); same owners for both. Terrible customer service, no follow-on customer relations, & a poor service department. I have bought three bikes from them; I will never spend a penny in either shop again.

Don't Buy From Sacramento Harley

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I had a bad experience at Sac Harley. After buying a 2009 Road King Classic and having an accessory speedo (nostalgic speedo/tach combo) written into the contract, I never did get the part from them because they kept ordering the wrong one (spun aluminum.) To make matters worse, they told me to wait for my 1,000 mile service to have the speedo installed because the speedo had to be calibrated at 1,000 miles and that my warranty might be voided if I rode over 1,000 miles without the major service. Long story short, a rude employee called me two days ago to tell me that they have the wrong speedo again but that it fits, so "take it or leave it" and that "I need to hurry up and make up my mind." I asked how I could get in touch with the owner. He refused to tell me.

They were not waiting for me all this time, I have been waiting for them to get the right part...patiently. I've been in contact with them at least seven times over the last 13 months and every time they said that they're sorry that they screwed up again and I've been nothing but gracious about it. In this case, nice guy gets punked.

Guess what? Thirteen months later I have only 900 miles on the bike and they told me that they are not going to install the part now if they do get it because I was mean to the staff there (when?) and that to punish me they were returning the funds for the contracted work order to Eaglemark so I can not have the speedo at all. They still do not have the right part and now they are trying to blame me as if I said or did something wrong.

These most recent events happened after I spoke to a guy in service yesterday and he told me that they now have the right speedo, but it already has 11,000 miles on it and they have to send it somewhere to be recalibrated again. I went to see if it was new like he said. (with 11,000 miles?) The guy says he doesn't have it now after he just told me that he had it (???) and says he'll be back. The store manager shows up, says, "Come with me" in a threatening tone and marched me into his office as if I did something wrong and brings in two other guys (one of them the owner's son) so he could tell me that I get nothing and to get out of there.

I never once complained for over a year while they kept screwing up the order. I have been waiting over a year to ride my bike without worrying about voiding the warranty.

I wish I never bought my bike there...Vacaville (Iron Steed) is the place to go.
