Old Cars We Wish We Still Had

I had and traded to my buddy a 1972 Monte Carlo custom with a factory 454 engine, wish I kept that one.

I also had 71 Buick Deuce and a quarter.It had,of all things,the coolest horn placement ever.And a 430 4bbl.But the horn was the inside grip of the steering wheel.Didn't have to take a hand off the wheel to honk,you just squeezed it,too cool.

That was the first front wheel drive car that I remember. I watched a guy do donuts in reverse in the snow....I thought what the heck.....lol

It was almost impossible to get stuck.That mill was great ballast over the front wheels.

I think good results in the snow and bad weather in general...with the Toronado is what started front wheel drive in cars. I can’t think of any other cars back in the early 70s that had front wheel drive can you?

I guess the Buick Riviera and the Toronado both came out with the front wheel drive the same year then is that right? Was the tornado an Oldsmobile?
