i had a softail painted years ago for 1800 bucks great job. painter told me the worst thing you could ever do to paint is wax it.... never use anything with silicone or carnuba (cant spell) anyways he said liquid glass and 3m hand glaze. i have used it for 10 years now and no swirls ever. great great stuff. hope this helps someone out.... and the 3m hand glaze will take any swirls already in paint do to waxing.

Huh,... i do not doubt what your painter is saying, but hasn't Carnauba wax been used for years?

I though that was how you made sure it was tight crank it down then hit the end of wrench with a hammer a couple times.

Great idea, actually. Just estimate how hard you hit the wrench times the length of the wrench to get a poor-man's torque wrench.:newsmile047:

I went riding with several people one guy's wife got off and he not looking what she was doing hung her helmet on the tail pipe, needless to say he had to get her another one and had a mess to clean off, my wife was like "how stupid can one person be?" :rofl

You can add fuel stabilizer to the fuel so theres no mater moisture and it cleans carbs/jets
