What Brand Bike Did You Ride Prior to HD?

I had a Yamaha sport bike when I was younger. It was fun for a awhile but I'm glad I made the switch to a Harley. My current Harley is only the second bike I've ever owned.
 
I think this is a cool thread. The first so called scoot I ever rode was a puch 2 stroke with pedals. I thought I was the coolest guy in town. LOL. Then a friend of mine wanted to sell his kaw 440LTD. I was lovin every minute of it. Then at age 18, the first H-D I was ever on was a 76 sporty. rode that for about 6 months before going to a 76 superglide. I ended up moving to Michigan and was discouraged by the helmet law and put riding aside.

After about 10 years, I saved up a few pennys and bought a kaw ZN700. great deal on it. Still have it as a back up. But I now own a 75 superglide
 
Honda VTX for me. 58,000 miles in the first 3 years of ownership... Thouht I needed a Road Glide with all of those long distance miles.
