What products Do You Use To Detail Your Bike

I have tried most all of the gimick expensive stuff. Nothing to good for my bike.
But is side by side test most of it is no better than off self.
First I use a microfiber was rag and microfiber to dry.
Soft paint brush for rims.
Soap ,Turtle wax spot free with OUT wax And I use softwater from the house. And mix the soap no stronger than they say.
While still wet I Use turtle wax 1 step wax and dry.(Sparingly a little is all you need)
Stuff is fast and works great.
Now the 1 what I call expensive product I like some times is BAM.
I carry along some in a small spray bottle it cleans bugs ok and is good for quick touch ups. And can be used with out washing the bike.
Bam is good for almost anything easy to use but at 20 Dollars for 32oz it can add up.
Last year I did both my bikes one is black one is orange.
1/2 with turtle wax and dry and 1/2 with expensive paste wax.
No one could tell the difference.
Same on the crome used mothers and turtle wax.
oh and on the seats I use HD saddle soap about once a month. Same on the leather bags on Fatboy they are 10 years old and still look good. A little color touch up now and then with Kiwi leather die.HD saddle soaps no different than any other saddle soap I quess but if we never bought anything but their bikes the dealer might go away
I would never be so presumptious to "tell the First Sergeant anything he didn't already know" but I have had pretty good luck with a product known as 303 Aerospace Protectorant for tires and leather. I mention this only because you might have forgotten about it. It is the only product that I have found to dress tires with that won't make them slippery. I buy mine at the boat dealers. $6.00 for a 8 oz spray bottle.
I just did the pledge thing today after washing and waxing. I now have the best smelling scooter on the coast without a doubt! Lemony Fresh!
Now I'll see how it works with all the sand, salt and rain we've got here.

What, you shouldn't was before or what??
Since I found this forum and read about pledge I quit waxing after a wash and I find that the pledge works as well if not better and without wax build ups around the rack and bag latches. I will coat my bike with liquid glass once a year and use pledge the rest of the time

Ok you want to make your aluminum parts on your bike look as good as chrome, Hands Down you will never get better results( BUSCH super shine aluminum polish ) over the years I have used everything nothing I mean nothing beats this stuff, check out this below I used one of your so called better polishes on 1 and busch on the other you be the judge.
