2009 Street Glide Improvements over 2008

You guys are great and I thank you for your help. Sorry to highjack the thread. I'll check back and send pictures of my new SG.

You should get a 1500 to 2000 gift card with it check out
Mishlers HD in Beaver Dam. Not far from Milwaukee
In Milwaukee area you never pay freight or prep the 20% is standard
I just checked Mishlers they have a 2000 dollar card with the 09's

Neither Hals or Milwaukee Harley could touch the Mischler deal. They both told me to take the deal. Hals said it was like they were giving me $300 in cash and the bike for cost.

I was going to do the deal via email with them but I've decided to make the ride to Mischlers this weekend to finalize. It seems to be too good to be true so I need to sit down and make sure there is no confusion.

Good luck on the dealing I hope you find Mishlers to be as fine a dealer As I have tell Eric, Mike in parts(smart young parts man) Also Aaron in parts.
And Darly in sales Bob and hid orange RG says hello

I sure will. Thanks again. I also want to talk them about the heavy breather/rush slip-ons possibly leaning out the bike. Mischlers suggested I didn't need to adjust, just bolt on and go.

Hey all I am glad you love your Street Glides. I bought my 2009 Street Glide December 20th 5 yr warranty, wheel and tire warranty for 17310.00 out the door!! On the way home though my air cleaner cover and one passenger foot peg fell off !! I called the dealer I bought it from and they said parts falling off were NOT covered by warranty but they would order me one if I paid for it in advance!! So after my blood pressure came down I said fine order it and paid $93.00. A few nights later my foot board relocated itself and after I stopped and looked I was missing a bolt that holds it on. So a quick trip to the local dealer (not the one I bought it at) they gave me a bolt and put it in for me so I could safely ride the bike. Since then the bike quit starting with the FOB, but I can USUALLY start it using the manual over ride code but that don't always work. So back to the local dealership I went, they said sorry you are having problems but we don't want it and will not work on it! Down to the dealership I bought it from and they couldn't get it in until after January 4th 2009!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So after being so mad I couldn't breathe I made the appointment and went to ride my 99 to calm my nerves and noticed I could use new tires so I called them back talked to parts and they had them in stock and said bring your bike in tomorrow and we will put the tires on, we aren't very busy! I called Harley factory and they said sorry and suggested I take it to another dealership in Alabama!!!! I said that was 3-4 hours away and they said if you want it fixed thats what you have to do sorry about your luck!!! SO here it is 22 Jan and I went to get the bike from the dealership, filthy dirty and it wouldn't stay running long enough to move it to the trailer and they said it ran great when they test rode it so it is my problem now but they could look at it Monday or Tuesday!! Well sorry to say I am done with that bike and Harley-Davidson all together I would have thought their customer service was better than we got your money (EDIT) you. But if anyone is near florida and wants it its for sale for what I have into it $17,500 (new air cleaner conver, insert, passenger pegs) Only 475 miles on it (it is 84 miles one way to original dealer and 46 to the other) If I can't sell it and I don't like the Goldwing I am going to test ride tomorrow I am junking the engine and trans for a 113 S&S and Baker 6 spd when I get some money.
I hope NO ONE has to deal with ANY dealerships like these.

want me to drive over and take a few picture for ya :)
It is a sharp BIKE.
Different kind of dealer aren't they.
That the difference between a big discount dealer and a family one thats been around 50 + years

I'm just signing paperwork tomorrow so no pictures just yet! Once they add all of the accessories and the bike is ready to be picked up, come on over!!!

You kept me straight on them when I was thinking out staying local.

Thanks again.

I would say they are still local not that far out of town.
I was out there today picked up an oil cooler just for the heck of it, something to play with.
I do like that color on a SG it looks right.

I'm going with the color matched fairing too. I'll have no problem finding it in a lineup.
