GOOD Dealers And Experiences

Gainesville HD in Florida .. Always courteous polite and never questions my mods when had to do Warranty service ( twice ) Will admit the Sales Manager kind of points out some Bikes for sale while I am there but laughs when tell him retired and broke :)

GAINESVILLE HARLEY DAVIDSON-GAINESVILLE FL.
I have had nothing but good service and information from the service manager to the sales people. They have even put on parts I bought elsewhere. Gail, the oner and her sons run a first rate dealership!!!

Meyer's Duran Tulsa Oklahoma. Bought my 07 1200L sporty there, Someone ran over my bike while parked in a parking lot and they rebuilt in 4 days.

After reading so many bad experiences i just had to post about mine . I bought my bike at big barn harley in des moines iowa which is about 12 miles from where i live , there is also a dealer in ames which is about 25 miles away . I hadn't walked in thew the door for more than 2 min. And there was a salesman wanting to know if he could help me . We looked at some used bikes and i tried dealing on one with no luck and he suggested a new one , it was only $1500.00 more than the 2 yr. Old one i was looking at . So we sat down made the deal i added the addons i wanted and all was great . After we were done or so i thought he walked me out to the front of the show room where he told me to ring the bell , i had no idea what this was about , after i rang the bell all the sales staff , clothing staff , parts people , came around introduced themselves and congraguated me on the new bike . Then i was introduced to the service manager , crome manager , sales manager and general manager . I was very impressed .

Took a little tour last weekend and stopped at The Shop Harley Davidsin in Sudbury Ontario. Got talking to the V/P Eric Kanerva, and he got us a hotel rate that I couldn't touch with any of my discounts available to me. Later he gave us the tour of his building and the shop and equipment and told us about his other businesses. The guy was a first class ambassador Spent more than an hour there. I will give them a 10, great people and hopitality

Terrific dealer "experience"

Just thought I'd post my experience with Harley-Davidson of Palm Beach (Fl).
My TSSM had blown out, and my bike thought I was trying to steal it.
Below is an email I just sent to the G.M. there:

Gentlemen an Ladies
I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Teri in your service department.
On Saturday, September 19, 2009 my 2007 Road King Classic left me stranded about 20 miles from my home. The TSSM had gone out and the bike would not let me start it. After some deliberation, I called your dealership expecting nothing more than a "we'll come get you for $XXX". To my surprise, I got Teri on the line an explained what had happened. She had a suggestion to change my remote battery and if that did not work to call her back. When that was not the problem I called her back and she suggested that maybe one of the turn signal bulbs were burnt out and was affecting the security system. That was not the problem either, so I asked her to make arrangements to come get me and the bike and bring it to the dealer to look at. I also asked the cost of that ride and about dropped when she said, "Oh no charge for that".
At the dealership, Teri was about as sweet and helpfull as one could be. When the technision had looked at the bike and found a new TSSM module was needed, Teri fully explained my options to me, even as far as for Bill to give me a ride home. She informed me that I could leave the bike or leave my payment info with her and take the bike, and that I should call HD customer service on Monday and see if they could help me out, seeing the bike was just 6 weeks out of warranty. After I called Teri on Tuesday with the service ref number, I made arrangements to come down and get squared away payment wise. Imagine my surprise when I got there and Teri told me that the factory would pay in full in the name of "goodwill" !!!!
I rode home one happy camper today, and your dealership has certainly gained my business. I'll be sure to spread the word to all my internet friends, too. It's nice to have a good dealer around here.
Thanks again to Teri,
And thanks for having a great dealership.

I'll also post this in the dealer experience section.

Re: Terrific dealer "experience"

Re: Terrific dealer "experience"

I did forget to mention that Teri originally told me this was going cost $165 if I had to pay. When I got all the info that was going to the factory, the bill said $265.00. .....guess it's like when you go the doctor with insurance or pay cash...

Re: Excellent Dealer Experience

I also have a excellent dealer experience. While riding in New York in the Catskill mountains, my front wheel felt out of balanced. Stopped in at Woodstock HD and they took it to the back and rebalanced it in no time flat. Thanks Woodstock HD.

Kudos and big thanks to Saddleback Harley Davidson in Logan Utah. Pulled into there this afternoon at 3:00 with what turned out to be a stator problem. They diagnosed it and stayed after 4:00 (their closing time) to finish the job and get me on my way home. Everyone there was friendly and acted glad to see you. They all met customers at the door and made them feel welcome. It was a big difference from most of the HD shops I've been into. I know I will go back there.
