Drawing to a close? You have got to be kidding. I have the trike to the point that I can enter it in a show. It is NOT done in the sense of other things I want to build for it. One of the main reasons for the build is so I can figure out new products for the Trike riders out there. There will be an entire section of custom airbrushing on it. Im even kicking around the idea of painting it an entirely different color. I also have a 1992 FLT sitting here. That too will be a trike in the near future. Only that one will have new designs to it that no one but myself has dreamed of doing to it.

Well,... the build continues. I rode about 1400 miles, round trip.
Gave the trike a real test with it's trailer in tow. There's a few things I made that need redesigning. They worked, just not up to my expectations. The full chin spoiler I made will need redesigning. I will need to open the face up more. For more air flow. I'll also need to channel the air flawlessly and directly to and through the fan to the cooler and more at the engine it's self.
I'll also be designing a new seat from scratch to hopefully put an end to the dreaded monkey butt!
I may even hook up an auxiliary fuel tank with an electric pump. So I'll have a better range. That would come in handy for when I close my business for the month of September and head towards the north west. So,... this trike build is not by any means over with.

I am sure that in the future there will be more tweaks and adjustments needed as with most of our bikes and it will keep being changed as time goes on

Just ordered a new horn - STE-SNH01W - BLACK STEBEL horn
139DBL's. I heard one here and it about made me jump out of my boots. Their made for a Honda. It will be replacing the hidden HF 134 DBL one I have now. That HF was loud in the beginning but doesnt last very long. I know, I know,.. it's not made here but atleast it's not made in China. I havent had any luck with any Chinese products lasting long, or even some working in the first place! Just about all the reviews I read on this horn are excellent.

Got the Horn. It will fit in the same place as the one I'm removing and it's made in Italy. I also picked up a barnett clutch spring. they said its for racing only. Oh well might as ride it like I stole it. Also picked up B&M Trick Shift for the primary.

Fin_676 you were right. Its now time to fix the little things that drive ya crazy.

I also want to add that if anyone else has the Kuryakyn Hyper charger over their carburetor. Where the heads vent into that mounting tube. Even with soft metal washers they usually supply with the kit. They tend to leak! The fix isnt as easy as tightening the banjo bolts more. You chance stripping the aluminum threaded passages out. I found what works beautifully. At any auto parts store. Get yourself 4 special washers that are used as drain plug sealing washers on an auto's oil pan drain plug. Their brass with a rubber washer center. Works like a charm and no need for
over tightening those banjo bolts.
