Motorcycle Adventure To California

There were a couple of places where there was a ten minute wait to get through construction areas. It suited me fine as it provided an opportunity to stretch and warm up in the sun.

One of these is the Bixby Bridge from the TV program "Then Came Bronson", but I can't remember which one. One of the old guys in the forum will identify it correctly!

Running off the road is seldom a good idea, but if you do it on this road all that would be left is a greasy spot and some chrome!
 
I must be in California dude! I had to stop and see what this was all about. Kite surfing! Hundreds of 'em all at one spot. Too cold for me.

I cheated and went to "Google". The bridge with the single arch is the Bixby Creek Bridge from "Then Came Bronson"! I thought I was taking decent notes, but I was wrong. Headed accross the Golden Gate Bridge after I get some chow and pull out some cold weather gear. It's down right chilly here in California. What's up with that?

You do have one of the Atlantic don't you? If not, that has to be the end of the ride so you can truly say you went coast to coast.

I know you are loving the scenery. I lived in San Jose for 15 years and loved it whenever I got a chance to get out of town. Don't forget the Lost Coast as you get further north. Make sure to ride through the Redwood tree on the Avenue of Giants.
 
I thought California was warm too. It was 50 degrees and rain while I was there. Get them coming, Mad Dog.
