i once had an 88 low rider and had just taken a secretary for ride around the block. flipped the jiffy down and it bounced up without my noticing it. got off the bike like usual and boy was my face red.

To remove rubber, bugs, tar, and etc. on chrome use ultra fine steel wool. Works awesome!

To remove bugs, I use my wife's fabric softener on chrome-windsheild-paint and chrome. Put some on a soft cloth and saturate the little devils, wait a few minutes and wash them right off. Never has hurt anything and makes the bike smell good...........:small3d026:

BEER IN A HARD SADDLEBAG

When a 12 pack of beer is in the saddle bags they will vibrate together and create wear marks and eventuallly pin holes in them, this can happen in as little as 15 miles.

Anyways they will leak and if a couple break then your sadddle bags fill up with beer and can leak past the rubbers on the botom on to the mufflers.

I would tend to call this alcohol abuse but the same thing happens with a galon of milk.
