I wonder if I'm going to have trouble putting the mobile 75-90 syn in my tranny case? I hear it's too slick for clutch?

I searched this weekend in my small town, and as close as I could find was Valvoline 85/150 gear oil. Is thia acceptable?

Ok Glider,

It's like you said, It smoothed the shift and reduced the rattle.
I'm so impressed with The Spectro 6 speed I went to Danbury HD (23 miles away) bought 2 oil filters returned home and changed the crankase oil to Spectro Platinum V Twin 20 50.

I just switched to SPECTRO Platinum in my Transmission - what a difference. I've got a 09 Road King and had them put SynTech in at the 1000mile service (They put it in all three holes). After reading the posts I was really concerned about running SynTech in the Transmission. The SPECTRO is like night and day. Shifting is much easier and the 5th gear whine is almost entirely gone.

Now I need to switch my engine oil - not sure what I am going to use. Perhaps AMSOIL or Mobil 1 V Twin?
