I finally got around to changing the transmission and primary over the weekend. F+ in the primary and Spectro 6 speed in the transmission.

WOW!! The transmission difference is huge. When I put the bike in first gear the first time, I actually felt the need to shift back into nuetral again and back into first because I wasn't sure if it went into gear the first time. No clunk at all :D All the shifts are smoother (is smoother a word??) and the first and fifth wine are better. If anybody is on the fence about the Spectro 6 speed, don't be. You won't be disappointed.

Ask your HD dealer to stock it. Ours here does and Smitty here on the forum had his dealer stock it too. Never know till you ask.:D

First of all, where do you find Spectro oil.....no one in Albuquerque sells it. And I know I previously asked if it was okay to swtich synthetic oil brands.....but is it okay so go from synthetic oil back to regular oil? After reading the primary oil survey I thikn i will go back to regular 20w50 in my primary. What is the difference between trasmission 75w140 and 75w90?
Thanx

I'm using the Spectro 6 speed 75/140 as well. I originally started using it last year due to the speed sensor problems that i was and am still having but it made a noticable difference in the tranny noise and shift quality. no more fuzz on the speed sensor either.
