What Brand Bike Did You Ride Prior to HD?

Aside from mopeds and scooters, my first was an 83 Honda Cr60r. First street bike was a 76 Honda CB550SS (still got it, still ride it).

That is a sweet old bike, and looks in nice shape too. Those old Hondas were bomb proof and fun to ride. Very nice.

Honda's, Kawasaki's, Triumphs, Suzukis, and 67 years later my first Harley.
And this ol man is having a ball.

Lord only knows how many dirt bikes when I was young but my street bike history is like many others. My first bike was a 86 Honda CB650C, then I had a 96 Suzuki LS650 Savage, then a 2002 Harley XL1200S Sportster and now my 87 Softail. And in another post or so I can finally show it off.

I had a Kawasaki dirt bike while young, then a Honda street bike. Sold that when the kids came along. I always wanted a Harley, now I have a Heritage.
