Here's my Trike build

I started making fender skirts for the trailer and the trike. Turns out the right side wheel opening on the trike is not the perfect mirror image as the left side wheel opening. This holds true for the trailer as well. To be sure I had to make an individual skirt for each wheel opening. ( I couldnt do all four and then drill through them at the same time. I had to make sure each one was fitted to the raised lip they mount against. )

All the holes for the studs holding the skirt on. Were tapped @ 8/32nd's and screws where threaded from the inside, mounted with rubber bonded washers. Which keeps the fiber-glass from cracking around the screw when tightened.

The aluminum "U" channel is to steady the fender skirt when riding or cleaning.

Im presently waiting for Rats hole to get back to me to confirm my registration in their custom motorcycle show. Its on the board walk and on March 12th. I didnt care for the fact that they bunch all 3 wheelers together. Id rather it was just for Harley Trikes. But I bit the bullet just the same. Mainly because its not peoples Choice. Its a judged show. I dont bother entering peoples choice judged shows. Their a rip off.

Now if I can finish this thing in time,... or I'm out 40 bucks for entering that show.

I dont know where that is. Besides,... I have to be at the board walk between 6:30 and 7:30 am and they start judging at 10am and trophies are handed out at 5:00pm. So I wont have anything to ride. So I guess that means no.

Ill be painting it next week. Be high 70's tomorrow. We're going riding.
Im gonna hold off on airbrushing it for now. Just paint it black and have it pin striped to match the rest of the scoot.

i did another thread. Im trying to find a judged show that doesnt put everything with 3 wheels in the same class. Rats hole didnt confirm and I didnt pay yet. So I still can change to another judged show. Know of any?

Also,.. I saw where port Orange is. Ill be staying south of that in mims, fl.
Have a friend that lives there.

So maybe Ill just skip a show. I dont care for leaving my ride in a show all day.
