Motorcycle Adventure To California

Sightseeing from my motel window; pretty wild.

I had a brilliant idea! I'll cross the tracks to get closer to the water to take a picture. I turned the ignition off and had another brilliant idea: what if a train comes along and stops? I moved toward the road and guess what?

Yep! Not a minute later, here comes a train.

This is along the Columbia River Gorge, in WA. I forgot to put that in the previous two pictures.

Not exactly scenic, but sometimes I forget the infrastructure that makes our daily lives possible. This was a perfect example.

I had to stop in downtown Dixie, WA. It looked like a Norman Rockwell setting.

Looks like you are getting the full tour. I love the areas you have been hitting and enjoy reliving them through you. Sure are a long ways from TN now.

I have the same picture of Lewiston, ID from my trip last year. From there, I headed north up the big hill and worked my way to Coeur de lane (-1 sp) and then over to MT before cutting north into Canada. Some more beautiful scenery coming your way whichever path you take.
